Florentine Paudel, Kathmandu University School of Education, Nepal

At the end of January/beginning of February 2023, Dr. Florentine Paudel, M.Sc. BSc BEd, went to the Kathmandu University School of Education in Nepal as a represenative for the University College of Teacher Education in Vienna to concretize the existing general cooperation between both institutions.

In the course of the cooperation talks, current research projects were discussed. The Erasmus+ project SLIDE was presented in general. There was a high level of interest in this project, also with possible participation in the use of the resulting Massive Open Online Course for both students and teachers (PR2 and PR4), because of the close connections to these target persons.

Furthermore, the own methodological approach in relation to the participation of communities, students and universities at the Kathmandu University School of Education was discussed. Parallels to questions about the resulting manifesto, which was created as a result of this Erasmus+ project, became apparent.
