On 19 January 2023, the “Shifting Perspectives Game”, developed by Wolfgang Weinlich of the Pädagogische Hochschule Wien, was tested with international students who, with the help of Erasmus+ mobility, attended the module Inclusion and Diversity in the University College for Teacher Training in Vienna. The game will be part of the e-learning module Digital Empowerment: Training program for higher education teachers, trainers and educational leaders, PR2 of the SLIDE project.
To realize the creative methods in an environment of creation as far as possible, the Art room of the University College was used for this test. After a brief introduction about Service-Learning and gathering the experiences of the students, the trial run started.
The overarching theme was communities and Service-Learning. With the help of the card set, the students tested different methods and perspectives. During a short presentation from the students, which mainly referred to these methods, it turned out that the creative methods in which graphic visualizations were used were rated as the most productive.
